Theft of Boat Motors and Ice Auger
September 28, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is to determine who broke into a shed on Bobolink Avenue in the Town of Rib Mountain.

 

Sometime between August 25th and August 26th, 2014, someone broke into a shed in the 3400 block of Bobolink Avenue and stole a 7.5 horsepower Mercury outboard motor, an Eskimo 34 cc ice auger, and a Minnkota electric trolling motor.    The trolling motor had a white cover with blue trim and a 42” shaft.

Wanted Fugitive Eric T. Hall
September 19, 2014

STATUS: CAPTURED

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s vigilance to help locate a wanted fugitive.

There have been several citizen reports that Eric T. Hall “Buck” (DOB 12/7/1975) has been seen in the Wausau area as recent as last week.  Hall may either be operating or have access to a Dually truck.

Since Hall’s release from prison on June 10, 2014, Hall has stolen multiples vehicles, was involved in a high speed chase, is a suspect in several burglaries and has assaulted a police officer.  Hall may also be armed with weapons he has stolen.

Eric Hall has been seen in or has connections to the following Counties: Marathon, Portage, Wood, Monroe, Jackson, Grant, Oneida, Sauk, Vilas, Eau Claire, Sauk, Barron, and Chippewa. Hall has also traveled out of state.

If you see Eric Hall, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND HIM, but call 911 immediately.

Bank Robbery in Weston
September 05, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person who robbed the Intercity State Bank in the Village of Weston.

 

On Friday, August 15, 2014 about 9:44am an armed robbery occurred at the Intercity State Bank in the Village of Weston.  A weapon was implied during the robbery but no one was injured during the robbery. Pictures of the suspect are attached. The suspect was wearing a black baseball hat, glasses, a yellow plaid button up shirt with a black shirt underneath, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. The suspect spoke in a low calm voice and had brown hair. It is unknown if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle.

Burlgaries to Storage Units
August 31, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is looking for information on who is breaking into storage units in the north central part of Marathon County.

 

There are multiple storage facilities near Brokaw in Marathon County.  On August 12, 2014, it was discovered multiple padlocks were cut at a storage facility to the west of Brokaw.  Multiple victims reported items missing.  On August 26, 2014, multiple locks were cut at a storage facility to the east of Brokaw and again the units were entered and property is missing.

Stolen Zero-Turn Lawnmowers
August 17, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to locate the people who were involved in stealing three zero-turn lawnmowers from a business in the Town of Maine.

 

Between 7:00 pm on August 6th and 8:00 am on August 7th, 2014 someone stole three new Kubota zero turn lawnmowers from a business in the Town of Maine.  One mower was a Model ZB326-60 diesel lawnmower.  The second was a Model Z724KH-54, and the third was a Model Z725KH-60 lawnmower.  The combined value of these mowers was over $25,000.00.

Theft from Cell Towers
August 08, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers needs your help to identify the people responsible for stealing copper from cell towers in Marathon County.

 

During the month of July, 2014, there have been reported thefts of copper wire and bus bars from two Cellular Towers located within Marathon County. In one incident, 8 ground wire bars that were 12 inches long, 4 inches wide and ¼ inch thick were taken from a cellular tower located in the Township of Elderon. In another incident that occurred in the Township of Halsey,  a 6 foot in length 1/0 gauge copper wire, two sections of 6-gauge copper wire, approximately 10 feet in length and one, 6 foot in length, 6 gauge copper wire were taken from another cellular tower. It appears that these two incidents could be related to other thefts of copper wire from cellular towers that occurred in Stevens Point, Mosinee, Wausau, and Rhinelander Wisconsin.

Stolen Street Signs
August 03, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify people responsible for stealing various road signs in the Village of Kronenwetter.

 

During the month of July, 2014, numerous street signs have been knocked over with a vehicle and stolen within Kronewetter.  Some of the signs are Stop signs which cause an extremely unsafe risk to people on the roadways.  The Village of Kronewetter has paid about $1,500.00 to replace all the signs.

Theft From Business
July 25, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers needs your help to find the people responsible for stealing from a business in the Township of Cleveland near Stratford.

 

On Friday July 11, 2014 about 3:30am, a vehicle with two occupants approached a business near Stratford and stole several hundred pounds of new sheets of copper. The sheets of copper varied in size from 12 inches wide to 4 feet wide and were 10 feet long. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 1999-2008 Pontiac Grand Am.  The loss is estimated at about $2500.

Hit and Run Property Damage
July 18, 2014

There were several mailboxes damaged in the Township of Mosinee and Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person responsible.

 

Sometime between Friday, June 27, 2014 and Saturday, June 28, 2014 a vehicle struck several mailboxes in the 2300 block of Fawn Rd.  The mailboxes were the type installed by the Post Office for a neighborhood with numerous addresses or customers. One of the mailbox groups was destroyed and two other mailbox groups were damaged, as well as private mailboxes on Burma Rd and Fawn Rd.  The total damage is estimated at approximately $3200.

Damage to Pontoons
July 13, 2014

There have been several boats damaged while docked in Lake DuBay and Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your vigilance to catch the people responsible.

 

Between Saturday, May 31 and Sunday June 1, 2014 there were five pontoon boats that were damaged and had items stolen from them while they were docked in Lake DuBay in the Township of Knowlton. A sixth pontoon boat was also damaged sometime during the month of June while docked near STH 34. This pontoon had a canvas cover which was ripped, three seat covers made of canvas were ripped and two were missing.  The gate at the back of the boat was damaged and appeared to have been kicked. There were several running lights mounted around the boat which were stolen as well as the stereo that was mounted in the dash.

Wanted For Substantial Retail Theft and Battery

STATUS: SOLVED

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to identify two males and female wanted for substantial retail theft and battery in the Township of Rib Mountain. 

 

On Monday, June 2, 2014, about 3:51pm, approximately $5000 in merchandise was taken from a business located on Rib Mountain Drive. A store employee confronted the thieves and the male suspect hit the employee and left the store with the stolen items.  The pictures are of the female suspect and the male suspects. Burglary to a Church

During the night of June 1st, 2014, someone went into a church by the intersection of County Road Z and County Road J in the Town of Easton after hours.  The person or persons went through various desks, broke multiple doors, and a window. Thefts From Pontoon Boats

Man Wanted For Indecent Exposure

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to find the man who exposed himself to a 10 year old girl near the Rothschild Pavilion.

 

Around 8:00 pm on June 2nd, 2014, the girl was playing by the Rothschild Pavilion.  A white adult male came by riding a bike and exposed his genitals to the girl.    The male was described as having curly blond hair and a light colored beard shaped in an upside down “U” with two points on it.  He was wearing a gray Wisconsin Badger t-shirt, bright red shorts, and a dark colored hat.  The bicycle was black and had a wire basket on the front of it.

Theft of Travel Trailer

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help to find the person responsible for stealing a travel trailer in the Township of Elderon.

 

Sometime between Friday May 23 and Tuesday May 27, 2014, someone took a 1996 Dutchman 26ft. travel trailer that was parked along STH 29 near Cherry Dr. for sale. The Dutchman was white in color and had a dark green and burgundy stripe along the side. There was a padlock on the trailers coupler to prevent it from being stolen.  The WI license plate on the trailer was MH74491.  The travel trailer was valued at about $4000.

MS 13 member with an Arrest Warrant
May 25, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to find a person who has an arrest warrant issued for him as he forcefully sexually assaulted a minor.

 

Marcos Antonio Hernandez is a Hispanic male born on 05-10-1973.  In 2012, he forcefully sexually assaulted a juvenile in Marathon County.  Hernandez has numerous tattoos over his body to include one on the back of his neck associating him with MS13, a violent criminal organization.  Hernandez uses the alias “Joker”.  He is 5’3” tall, weighs about 183 pounds, and had brown eyes and black hair.

Residential Burglary

Sometime during the day on Friday May 2, someone forced their way into a residence on Tryba Rd while the home owners were gone.  The burglars took a black Compaq Laptop Computer, five silver necklaces about 25 inches in length, a Mayan silver name pendant, and a Sony Cybershot DSC-H7 camera.  The total loss is estimated at about $1200.

Theft from Garage
May 11, 2014

Marathon County Crime Stoppers is seeking information to determine who stole tools from a garage in the Town of Cleveland.

 

Sometime over the course of this past winter, someone went into a garage on Maryel Drive in the Town of Cleveland and stole numerous tools.  Items stolen included a Miller wire feed welder, a 6/12 volt battery charger, a 3 ton aluminum floor jack, two 12 ton jack stands, a Husqvarna Model 455 chainsaw, and a post maul with the initials “GP” welded into it.  The victim sustained over a $1,200.00 loss.

Theft of Vehicle

Sometime between the evening of Sunday 04/27/14 and morning of Monday 04/28/14, a 2005 Toyota Tundra Double Cab Sr5 blue pick-up truck was stolen from a pole shed on Balsam Road. The truck had a WI license plate number of EV9458 and was valued at about $6000. (The picture is of a similar truck to the one that was stolen)

Damage to a Residence
